Reasons to choose Starflow over other flow meters, in all flow metering applications
SECURITY — Starflow is an “upward-looking” ultrasonic flow meter designed for installation at or near the bottom of the water channel. As such it is less vulnerable to vandalism than the more common “downward-looking” water flow meters, and less susceptible to the impact of solar radiation.
RUGGED — Starflow was designed to be operated in hostile environments with minimal maintenance.
PRICE — Starflow is significantly less expensive than similarly featured water flow meters.
ACCURACY — Starflow is more accurate than water flow meters which only measure surface flow as it continuously calculates the cross-sectional area of the stream.
VERSATILE WATER OPERATIONS — Starflow´s high frequency signal allows it to detect even very small targets in the stream, allowing it to be used in all but de-gassed water and fluids containing suspended solids.
REVERSE FLOW MEASUREMENT — Both magnitude and direction of forward and reverse flows can be measured.
